No classified, controlled, regulated, credential, exploit, or confidential data through public channels.

Brand Integrity

No implying partnership, endorsement, certification, government approval, or production readiness without written authorization.

† 01Applicability

Scope of this Usage Policy

This Usage Policy establishes acceptable-use rules for Ascension Labs public websites, research materials, contact forms, public documentation, prototype demonstrations, briefings, pilot discussions, evaluation environments, and any related services or systems made available by Ascension Labs.

Additional or different restrictions may apply under signed agreements, pilot terms, customer contracts, security scopes, export-control terms, data-processing agreements, or product-specific rules.

† 02Core Rule

Authorized Use Only

You may use Ascension Labs materials and systems only for lawful, authorized, and legitimate purposes. Public access to a website, page, form, technical description, or prototype demonstration is not permission to test, exploit, copy, reverse engineer, overload, scrape, bypass, or repurpose Ascension Labs systems.

Users are responsible for ensuring they have proper authority from their organization, customer, client, or system owner before submitting information, requesting analysis, discussing security matters, evaluating prototypes, or applying Ascension Labs materials to any operational context.

† 03Prohibited

Illegal, Harmful, or Abusive Activity

You may not use Ascension Labs websites, materials, systems, prototypes, outputs, or communications to support, request, enable, or conceal:

  • illegal activity, fraud, theft, extortion, bribery, money laundering, sanctions evasion, or deceptive conduct;
  • harassment, stalking, doxxing, threats, abuse, intimidation, discrimination, or targeted personal harm;
  • sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material, trafficking, coercion, or non-consensual intimate content;
  • self-harm facilitation, violent extremism, terrorist support, or instructions for physical harm;
  • privacy-invasive profiling, unlawful surveillance, unauthorized identification, or misuse of personal information;
  • misrepresentation of identity, authority, affiliation, endorsement, certification, or procurement status.
† 04Security Use

Cybersecurity Boundaries

Ascension Labs may discuss cybersecurity, intelligence, adversarial testing, anomaly detection, governance, and defensive response concepts. Those materials are intended for lawful, authorized, defensive, research, assurance, and evaluation contexts.

You may not use Ascension Labs materials, systems, prototypes, outputs, or communications to gain unauthorized access; develop, deploy, improve, or evade detection for malware, ransomware, botnets, credential theft, phishing, persistence, or command-and-control infrastructure; perform unauthorized scanning, exploitation, fuzzing, credential attacks, social engineering, denial-of-service, or vulnerability validation; exfiltrate data; bypass controls; target critical infrastructure or other high-risk environments without explicit lawful authorization; or convert defensive research into unauthorized offensive activity.

† 05Collection Rules

Intelligence, OSINT, and Data Collection

Any use of Ascension Labs materials for intelligence, OSINT, cyber threat intelligence, fraud analysis, narrative analysis, bot detection, infrastructure mapping, or related workflows must respect law, platform terms, privacy rights, data-access limits, and authorization boundaries.

You may not use Ascension Labs materials or systems for unlawful surveillance, stalking, doxxing, coercive profiling, discrimination, targeted harassment, mass scraping in violation of law or platform terms, credential misuse, private-data acquisition, or attempts to deanonymize individuals without lawful basis and proper authority.

† 06AI Boundaries

AI and Automation Use

You may not use Ascension Labs AI-related materials, demonstrations, outputs, or systems to make unsupported high-impact decisions, impersonate individuals, mislead users, generate fraudulent content, evade safety controls, automate abuse, or replace required human review in sensitive contexts.

AI outputs should be reviewed by qualified personnel before use in legal, financial, medical, employment, safety-critical, security-critical, procurement, or operational decisions. Users must not present prototype outputs as independently verified, certified, accredited, government-approved, or production-authorized unless Ascension Labs has expressly provided that status in writing.

† 07Data Handling

Data Submission Rules

Do not submit data unless you have the legal right and organizational authority to do so. Do not submit classified information, controlled information requiring special handling, export-controlled technical data, credentials, secrets, malware, exploit payloads, protected health information, children’s data, financial account data, biometric data, customer records, or third-party confidential information through public channels.

If a use case requires sensitive data handling, request a secure intake process and written handling terms before transmission. Public forms are for general business intake and are not a secure transfer system for high-sensitivity material.

† 08Representation

Misuse of Ascension Labs Claims and Branding

You may not use Ascension Labs names, logos, product names, system descriptions, architecture diagrams, claims, metrics, or public materials to falsely imply partnership, sponsorship, reseller authority, certification, government approval, procurement status, security accreditation, or endorsement.

You may not alter Ascension Labs materials in a way that changes technical meaning, removes claim limitations, strips context, or presents Phase I prototype material as production-certified capability.

† 09No Abuse

Site and Infrastructure Protection

You may not interfere with Ascension Labs websites, hosting, domains, repositories, forms, APIs, models, vendors, accounts, or infrastructure. Prohibited activity includes scraping at abusive rates, spam, automated form abuse, denial-of-service activity, content injection, vulnerability scanning without permission, bypass attempts, credential attacks, reverse engineering, or attempts to access non-public resources.

Ascension Labs may use technical controls, rate limits, blocking, logging, monitoring, takedown requests, legal remedies, or law enforcement referrals to protect its systems and users.

† 10Restrictions

High-Risk and Regulated Uses

Ascension Labs public materials and prototype outputs are not intended to be used as the sole basis for decisions involving legal rights, employment, credit, housing, education, medical care, insurance, criminal justice, public benefits, safety-critical operations, military targeting, critical infrastructure control, or emergency response.

Any high-risk or regulated use requires appropriate contractual terms, validation, human oversight, risk assessment, compliance review, security controls, and deployment-specific authorization.

† 11Compliance

Export Controls and Sanctions

Users must comply with applicable export-control, sanctions, anti-boycott, procurement, and trade-compliance laws. You may not access, request, transfer, use, or provide Ascension Labs materials or systems in violation of applicable restrictions.

Ascension Labs may restrict access, decline engagement, terminate discussions, or require additional review based on jurisdiction, end user, end use, organization type, sanctions status, export-control risk, or other compliance concerns.

† 12Remedies

Monitoring, Enforcement, and Reporting

Ascension Labs may investigate suspected violations of this Usage Policy and may suspend access, block traffic, remove content, reject submissions, limit communications, terminate access, notify affected organizations, preserve evidence, or refer matters to legal authorities where appropriate.

Misuse, impersonation, security concerns, suspected abuse, or policy questions may be reported through the Ascension Labs Contact page. Include enough detail for review, but do not submit sensitive payloads, credentials, personal data, regulated data, or unauthorized access results through a public form.
